What Information should I have ready when reporting my claim?
  1. Your insurance company name and policy number.
  2. Police report with report number and information about any other parties involved in the claim.
  3. Where you can be reached during the day and evening.
  4. Your email address.
  5. Keep any information related to your claim ready when your adjuster calls.

Should I Make a Claim or Not?
  • There are some situations where you are wise to consider whether or not you should present a claim. We can help you decide.
  • Is the loss greater than my policy deductible?
  • Is it covered?  Remember that your policy has limits and exclusions that mean some losses are not covered.
  • Will my premiums increase?  If I make a claim will the premiums increase beyond the settlement I receive from the insurance company?  We will give you advice on how best to proceed, that’s what brokers do.
